Type host: Gelochelidon nilotica Gmelin ( Charadriiformes : Sternidae ). Type locality: Kazakhstan.
FEMALE (3 paratypes). Total length 505–520. Gnathosoma . Infracapitulum punctate in anterior part. Each medial branch of peritremes with 2 chambers, each lateral branch with 4–5 chambers. Movable cheliceral digit 90 long. Stylophore apunctate, 120–130 long. Idiosoma . Propodonotal shield weakly sclerotized in posterior part, apunctate, rectangular in shape. Propodonotal setae smooth. Length ratio of setae vi:ve:si 1:1.6–1.7:2.8–3.2. Bases of setae c1 situated slightly anterior to level of setae se. Hysteronotal shield weakly sclerotized, fused to pygidial shield, apunctate, bearing bases of setae d1 and terminal setae. Setae d2 about twice as long as setae d1 and e2. Setae f2 2– 2.5 times longer than f1. Setae f1 and h1 subequal in length. Setae h2 4.1–5.7 times longer than f2. Genital plate weakly sclerotized, restricted to genital setae. Genital and pseudanal setae subequal in length. Aggenital setae ag1 and ag3 subequal in length, both setae about 1.5 times longer than ag2. All coxal fields weakly sclerotized, apunctate. Setae 3c 2.6 times longer than 3b. Legs. Setae tc’III–IV about half as long as tc”III–IV. Fan-like setae p’ and p” of legs III and IV with 6 tines. Claws with basal angle. Lengths of setae: vi 25–30, ve 40–50, si 80, se 100–115, c1 125–130, c2 105–115, d1 35–40, d2 65–75, e2 40, f1 30, f2 60–75, h1 30, h2 310–340, ps1 and ps2 20, g1 and g2 20, ag1 170, ag2 115, ag3 170–195, l’RIII 30–35, l’RIV 30–35, tc’III–IV 25, tc”III–IV 50–55, 3b 35, 3c 90.

Type material examined. Gelochelidon nilotica Gmelin ( Charadriiformes : Laridae ): 3 female paratypes ( AVB 05–0715–027); KAZAKHSTAN, Chüy , Sarbulak Lake, 21 June 1985, coll. S.V. Mironov.

Non-type material examined. Chlidonias leucopterus (Temminck) (Laridae) : 12 females ( AMU –SYR.105); EGYPT , Beheira Governate, Wadi El Natrum , Birket el Brida, 27 May 1984, coll. S.M. Goodman. Material deposited in the AMU and RMCA .
Host range and habitat. Oligoxenous species inhabiting quills of secondary feathers of Gelochelidon nilotica and Chlidonias leucopterus .
Distribution. Kazakhstan and Egypt.
