Leioderes Redtenbacher, 1849 View in CoL
The genus is represented in Turkey by only one species, Leioderes tuerki Ganglbauer, 1886 . Sama (2002) mentioned that old records of L. kollari Redtenbacher, 1849 from Syria and Anatolia belong to this species. The species has been reported by different authors from various localities in the western half of Turkey. However, Sama and Löbl (2010) stated that both species occur in Turkey. L. kollari has not yet been recorded from any exact locality in Turkey. If it is present, it should be distributed only in northern Turkey, according to the distribution area of the species.
Zoogeographically, L. tuerki has SW-Asiatic (Syro-Anatolian) chorotype.
