Pariana sp.

( Poaceae : Bambusoideae : Olyreae ) ( Figs. 6a–c View FIGURE 6 )

The host plant for a single individual of Thoon ponka (2021-FLP-IMM-0533) was an unidentified species of herbaceous bamboo in the genus Pariana . In the study area, this Pariana sp. grows generally at the forest edge, and occasionally in light gaps within the forest (always near the forest edge). The particular individual where the egg was found was located in the forest vegetation bordering a Mauritia palm swamp in a considerably open area. On the date the egg was collected, the plant height was 0.7 m. The egg was found 0.7 m above the ground situated on the abaxial surface of the middle part of the leaf blade, between the margin and the midrib.
