Etymology. The specific epithet “flavipes ” is derived from Latin meaning yellow leg, a distinctive feature of the species.

Barcode. Not available.

Remarks. Due to the absence of identification keys for the Oriental Chloropsina species, we checked their original descriptions and type images when available. Chloropsina flavipes . Images of the holotype of C. tagalica (Frey) (http://id.luomus.fi/GV.18538) deposited in the Finnish Museum of Natural History show that, despite the overall similarity with C. flavipes , this species has ocellar triangle with longitudinal sulcus in the apical half, palpus brown, gena not visible in profile, and round postpedicel.
