Material examined. NEPAL: 4JJ 8♀♀, Annapurna Reserve, Pokhara env., 900–2500 m, 1.–6.vi.1995, J. Kolibáč leg. ( MMBC) ; 3 JJ 2 ♀♀, Gandaki zone, 20 km SW of Pokhara, Chandrakot , 1550–1600 m, 1.–2.vi.2001, P. Kresl leg. ( ZKDC) ; 1 J, Dhawalagiri zone, Ghar Khola, Shikha-Tatopani , 2000– 1100 m, 13.vi.1986, C. Holzschuh leg. ( NHMB) ; 1 ♀, Gandaki zone, Pokhara , 15.–18.vi.1976, W. Witmer & C. Baroni leg. ( NHMB) .
Distribution. India (Sikkim, West Bengal: Darjeeling distr.), Nepal ( KEJVAL 2000, TELNOV 2003a).
Remarks. The records from Nepal by TELNOV (2003a) are partly based on misidentifications; five specimens from NKME that he reported as A. pokharensis belong to A. nepalensis (see above). The above listed specimen from Pokhara (NHMB) bears the identification label ‘ Anthelephila coniceps ’ by D. Telnov ( TELNOV 2003a).
