Type species, P. platypezoidea Disney, 1987
The genus was established based on a single male specimen caught in Dumoga-Bone National Park, Sulawesi (Disney, 1987). Brown (1994) mentioned a second male from the Philippines. Otherwise there is no more data on this littleknown genus.
