Familia Belostomatidae View in CoL
De amplia distribución con 6 géneros y 111 especies en la región neotropical ( Polhemus y Polhemus, 2008). Es la familia de insectos acuáticos más diversa de Argentina con 31 especies descritas en tres géneros. Para la provincia de San Juan, Coscarón (2017) cita a: Belostoma bifoveolatum Spinola , B. elegans (Mayr) y Lethocerus annulipes (Herrich-Schaeffer) .
