Familia: Gelastocoridae View in CoL
Presenta distribución cosmopolita, aunque es más diversa en las regiones tropicales ( Schuh y Slater, 1995), registra en Argentina tres géneros con 10 especies ( Coscarón, 2017). Para la provincia Melo (2009), cita a Nerthra ranina Herrich-Schaeffer y De Carlo (1931) a Nerthra peruviana (Montandon) .
