Material examined. Holotype. BRAZIL: Rio Grande do Sul, Cristal , Camaquã river, riparian forest, 31°01’01.7”S; 51°56’42.0”W, 06.VIII.2008, E.N.L. Rodrigues & P.E.S. Rodrigues leg., 1M (MCN 52003). Etymology. The specific name is a noun in apposition taken from the type locality.
Diagnosis. The male of Thymoites cristal new species resembles that of Thymoites tabuleiro new species in the shape of the carapace and the palp ( Figs. 26–28 View FIGURES 26 – 30 ), but differs in the conductor longer ( Fig. 26 View FIGURES 26 – 30 ), trajectory of the sperm duct in the tegulum ( Fig. 26 View FIGURES 26 – 30 ) and embolus developed. The female of Thymoites cristal new species is close to T. tabuleiro by the not coiled copulatory duct ( Figs. 29, 30 View FIGURES 26 – 30 ), but differs from it in the spermathecae round and copulatory duct short and straight ( Figs. 29, 30 View FIGURES 26 – 30 ).
