Umbotectum capitofalcatum Solà & Sluys , sp. nov.

Material: Holotype, RMNH.VER.21025.a (field number RS325), Field station Danau Girang, Kinabatangan River flood plain, Sabah, Malaysian Borneo , approx. 5°24’52.2’’N 118°02’11.7’’E, March 2012, coll. Dr. Heike Kappes, six portions sectioned at intervals of 8 μm, comprising a total of 210 slides: horizontal sections of the head on 29 slides; horizontal sections on 27 slides and sagittal sections on 35 slides of the portion between the “neck” and the pharynx; transverse sections containing the pharynx on 35 slides; sagittal sections containing the copulatory apparatus on 54 slides; sagittal sections of the tail on 30 slides. The tip of the tail was cut off before sectioning, to be used for molecular analyses. GoogleMaps
