Distribution in the Arabian Peninsula: United Arab Emirates ( Hamer, 1986 as “ditto [ Astata cleopatra ] or A. selecta Nurse ”).

Extralimital distribution: India, Israel.

Remarks: Although Schmid-Egger (2014) stated that this species had not yet been recorded from the Arabian Peninsula, he considered its occurrence there probable, hence its inclusion here.
