Distribution in the Arabian Peninsula: Oman ( Guichard 1980 as Liris praetermissus; Roche 2007), Saudi Arabia ( Gadallah et al. 2013), United Arab Emirates ( Hamer 1986, 1988 both as Liris praetermissa; Gillett & Gillett 2005 as L. praetermissa; Howarth & Gillett 2008 as L. praetermissa; Schmid-Egger 2011, 2014). Extralimital distribution: Afghanistan, Algeria, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Egypt, France, Greece, Iran, Israel, Italy, Malta, Morocco, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, Uzbekistan.
