Description of Collinsella aerofaciens LPB View in CoL 0332
Cells are anaerobic, Gramstainingpositive, nonflagellated and ovoid shaped. Colonies are circular, convex, entire and cream colored after incubation for 3 days on anaerobe basal medium at 30℃. In the API 20A system, positive reaction for esculin hydrolysis and acid production from Dmannitol, sucrose, Dmaltose, salicin, Dxylose, L-arabinose, glycerol, D-cellobiose, D-melezitose, Draffinose, D-sorbitol, D-rhamnose and D-trehalose. In the API 20A system, negative reaction for oxidase activity, indole formation, urease activity, gelatin hydrolysis and acid production from Dglucose, Dlactose and Dmannose. Strain LPB0332 About LPB (= NIBRBAC000503339) was isolated from the intestine of a laboratory mouse in Daejeon, Korea (36°23′56.11″N 127°23′41.76″E) GoogleMaps .
