Notes. – This species is found in continental southeastern Asia, in Vietnam and Cambodia ( GOVAERTS et al., 2015). RUHSAM et al. (2008) concluded that this species does not belong to Chassalia , and transferred it to Psychotria but did not designate a lectotype. This species has the characters of Eumachia rather than Psychotria , and does not match any other Eumachia species treated here. Therefore this name is transferred to Eumachia , but this species is not well understood so but more study will be needed to clarify its typification.
