Note: Compared with the holotype ( Fan et al. 2010: Figs 19, 20 View FIGURES 17–22 ), the discal spots on the forewing of the two males examined in this study are narrower, and the two cell spots of all six specimens examined are separated, not conjoined as described by Fan et al. (2010: 12). The female of this species was found for the first time. Its forewing length is 13–14 cm, and the discal spots on the forewing are wider than those of the male.
Female genitalia ( Fig. 35 View FIGURE 35 ). Distal 2/3 of papillae anales tapered. Posterior edge of lamella postvaginalis with a widely U-shaped concave on each side of a shallowly notched middle plate. Lamella antevaginalis divided into two plates, between which is an hourglass-shaped gap. Ductus bursae tube-like; bursa copulatrix bursiform, without signum.
