Description. The body shape and color pattern resemble Motaga rokfa Dworakowska , but crown vertex without dark spot ( Figs 1e, f, g, h View FIGURE 1 ).

Pygofer lobe with few microsetae on distal half ( Fig. 4a View FIGURE 4 ). Dorsal appendage short and broad, apex pointed and slightly curved ventrad ( Figs 4a, c View FIGURE 4 ). Subgenital plate with about 4 macrosetae ( Fig. 4a View FIGURE 4 ). Style and connective resemble those of M. rokfa Dworakowska ( Figs 4d, e, f View FIGURE 4 ). Aedeagal shaft slightly compressed, bifurcated at apex, with pair of basal appendages reaching gonopore, gonopore located in the upper 1/3 length of shaft on ventral surface ( Figs 4g, h View FIGURE 4 ).

Measurement. Male 2.40mm, female 2.40mm.

Material examined. Holotype: ♁, CHINA, Yunnan Prov., Jinghong , 2017.IV.6, coll. Shuanghu Lin ; Paratypes: 6♁ 4♀, same data as holotype .

Remarks. This new species is similar to Motaga rokfa Dworakowska , but has the crown apex without a dark spot, the apex of the dorsal pygofer appendage not exceeding the hind margin of pygofer side, the hind margin of the pygofer side rounded, the gonopore located in the upper 1/3 of the aedeagal shaft on the ventral surface, and the aedeagal shaft almost straight in lateral view. Motaga rokfa Dworakowska has the crown with a dark spot, the pygofer dorsal appendage exceeding the posterior margin, the hind margin of the pygofer side angled, the gonopore near the middle of the ventral surface of the aedeagal shaft and the shaft curved dorsad in lateral view.

Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the species name “ rokfa ” and Greek suffix “- oides ”, referring to the similarity of this species to Motaga rokfa Dworakowska.
