Type species: Shibinga nigra Song, Yuan & Jiang, 2021 , by original designation

Description. Body mainly dark brown. Head narrower than pronotum. Crown dark brown marked with pale yellow. Eyes gray to black. Face convex in profile, brown marked with pale yellow, anteclypeus broad, lorum narrow. Forewing dark brown and semitransparent, with three irregular yellowish white markings, second apical cell narrowest, fourth apical cell not extended to tip of wing, AA and AP vein visible. Hind wing transparent, slightly smoky, RA vein present, submarginal vein (av) developed.

Abdominal apodemes short, only presented in sternite III. Anal tube short, without appendage.

Pygofer well sclerotized, pygofer lobe with posterior margin rounded or indented apically, with few microsetae and several microtrichia scattered on dorsal and ventral parts in caudal half. Dorsal appendage curved ventrad with apex pointed. Subgenital plate short, robust or slim, with 3–4 macrosetae in the middle and numerous microsetae along upper margin and on distal disc in lateral view. Style with foot-like apex, with preapical lobe membranous and extremely enlarged. Connective Y-shaped, with manubrium long and slim, central lobe small. Aedeagal shaft short, similar in length to preatrium, with or without pair of basal appendages, gonopore apical.
