Description. Crown dark brown, anterior margin rounded, with small pale yellow spots at vertex. Eyes blackish or dark brown. Other external characteristics as in the generic description ( Figs 1q, r, s, t View FIGURE 1 ).

Abdominal apodemes resembles Shibinga gracilprocessa ( Fig. 7b View FIGURE 7 ). Anal tube with poorly sclerotized structure ( Fig. 7a View FIGURE 7 ).

Pygofer lobe with posterior margin rounded, with several microsetae at cephalo-ventral angle and numerous microtrichia scattered on caudal half ( Fig. 7a View FIGURE 7 ). Characteristics of dorsal appendage, style and connective characters as in generic description ( Figs 7a, c, d, e, f View FIGURE 7 ). Subgenital plate short and slim, with about 3 macrosetae in the middle ( Fig. 7a View FIGURE 7 ). Aedeagal shaft tubular, slightly curved dorsad, with pair of basal appendages extremely long and similar in width to shaft ( Figs 7g, h View FIGURE 7 ).

Measurement. Male 2.45mm, female 2.40–2.50mm.

Material examined. Holotype: ♁, CHINA, Zhejiang Prov., Lishui , 2017.Ⅴ.20, coll. Shuanghu Lin ; Paratypes: 5♁ 5♀, same data as holotype .

Remarks. This new species is similar to Shibinga gracilprocessa , but has the subgenital plate slim and the aedeagal shaft tubular and wider than the basal appendages in lateral view. Shibinga graciliprocessa has the subgenital plate more robust and the aedeagal shaft compressed with basal appendages as wide as the shaft.

Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from Latin words “ grossus ” and “ processus ” referring to the robust aedeagal shaft basal appendages.
