T y p u s m a t e r i a l: Holotypus (): Venezuela: Táchira: San Christobol, 10 km SE P. N. Chorro El Indio, 1320m, 7 o 44’3’’N, 72 o 13’1’’ W, ex gilled mushrooms on log, 29. V. 1998, J. Ashe, R. Brooks & R. Hanley 146 (5, 2/2(1)5): im KSEM.

B e s c h r e i b u n g Glänzend, schwarz, Elytren mit vier rötlichgelben Flecken wie in Abb. 98, Stirn und Pronotum grob und sehr weitläufig punktiert, Elytren mit zwei kurzen Punktreihen (vgl. o.). Fühlerbasis rötlichgelb, die Keule braun. Beine einfarbig hell rötlichbraun.

L ä n g e: 3,6mm (Vorderkörperlänge: 2,2mm).

PM des HT: HW: 47; DE: 27; PW: 37; PL: 36; EW: 53; EL: 42, 5; SL: 34.

M ä n n c h e n: 11. Fühlerglied 3,2x so lang und 1,2x so breit wie das 10. Glied. Vordersternite einfach. 8. Sternit flach und breit ausgerandet, in der Mitte kaum merklich vorgezogen. 10. Tergit fein und sehr weitläufig auf eng genetztem Grund punktiert. Aedoeagus ( Abb. 324 View Abb ).

W e i b c h e n: 11. Fühlerglied fast 4x so lang und 1,2x so breit wie das 10. Glied. 10. Tergit mässig fein und mässig dicht auf fast glattem Grund punktiert.

D i f f e r e n z i a l d i a g n o s e Diese neue Art ist vergleichsweise gross; sie lässt sich nur mithilfe ihres Aedoeagus sicher identifizieren.
