Rhodostrophia tyugui Vasilenko, 1998 , Zool. Zh., 77 (10): 1138, figs, 2, 4. Type locality: Russia, Altai, South Chyua Range.
Diagnosis. The species can be distinguished by the following characters: the male hind tibia has four spurs; the postmedial line of the forewing is usually brown, broad and wavy. In the male genitalia, the uncus is long and narrow, slightly dilated and bifid at tip; the valva is very broad and spinose on the ventro-terminal margin; the aedeagus is curved; the cornutus is absent. In the female genitalia, the ovipositor is spinose; the ductus bursae is straight and strongly sclerotized except the anterior part; the signum is large coat-shaped.

Distribution. China (Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Gansu), Russia, northern Kazakhstan, southern Siberia (Alitai and Sajan Mts.), Mongolia to Dahuria, East-Europe.
Remarks. The wings of the female are narrower than those of the male ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1–15 ).
