PLOCOGLOTTIS Blume View in CoL , Bijdr. Fl. Ned. Ind.: 380, 1825

The occurrence of Plocoglottis quadrifolia J.J.Sm. in Myanmar was listed by Govaerts et al. (2020), apparently based on Nuraliev et al. (2015: 195). Previously, Kurzweil (2009: 81) stated that the distribution of Plocoglottis includes peninsular Myanmar (presumably based on the distribution map in Pridgeon et al. 2005: 155), although this was later considered an error. However, recent communication with M. Nuraliev and L. Averyanov suggests that there is indeed a specimen of Plocoglottis collected in southern Myanmar. We are currently trying to locate the material.
