Distribution:— Northeastern India, Myanmar and Thailand.
Notes:— Aerides decumbens was not validly published by Griffith since no description was provided and the accompanying illustration lacks an analysis that would help identify the species. However, Hooker (1890b: 48) later provided a description that validated the name. Subsequently many later authors misapplied the name and its synonyms to what is now called P. deliciosa .
