Basionym : Eria dasypus Rchb. View in CoL f., Bot. Zeitung (Berlin) 22: 415, 1864. Type :— MYANMAR. Mon State : Mawlamyine District, cult. Day s.n. (holotype: W-R 37645 ; icon. of living plant in Day’s Album 8: t. 22 at K) .
Specimens examined:— UPPER MYANMAR. Fide Aung et al. (2020: 97). MON. Mawlamyine District : type; same loc., icon. Parish 235 ( K, W-R 21283 ) . Also reported from Tanintharyi Region by Kress et al. (2003: 77), but we have not seen material from this area.
Distribution:— Southern Myanmar and Thailand.
