Tanintharyi Region: Myeik District , Griffith 1034 (lectotype K-LINDL, designated by Seidenfaden 1982: 82; isolectotype: K). Syntype: MYANMAR. Mon State: Mawlamyine District , Lobb s.n. ( K-LINDL) .

Homotypic synonym: Mycaranthes merguensis (Lindl.) Rauschert, Feddes Repert. View in CoL 94: 456, 1983.
