District, Griffith 554 (holotype: not located).

Specimens examined:— KAYIN. Kawkareik District : CHP 5095 ( K) . MON. Thaton District : type; same loc., Swinhoe 81 ( K) ; Mawlamyine District: Griffith s.n. (icon. K) ; same loc., 21 Jan 1912, Lace 5595 ( E, K) . TANINTHARYI. Myeik District : type; same loc., Parish 24 ( K) ; same loc., Griffith 374 ( K-LINDL) . Also reported from Bago Region by Kress et al. (2003: 77), but we have not seen material from this area.

Distribution:— The eastern Himalayas, northeastern India, Myanmar and Thailand.
