Basionym: Eria tenuiflora Ridl., J. Linn. Soc., Bot. View in CoL 32: 291, 1896.
Specimens examined:— MON. Mawlamyine District: Parish 321 ( K, W). Also reported from Tanintharyi Region by Kress et al. (2003: 78), but we have not seen material from this area.
Distribution:— Southern Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina and Malesia as far east as Sulawesi.
Note:— Confused previously with the Philippine Eria ringens Rchb. f.
