Basionym : Vanda moorei Rolfe, Orchid Rev. View in CoL 5: 329, 1897. Type :— MYANMAR. Upper part: Oct 1897, cult. Moore s.n. (holotype: K) .

Specimens examined:— UPPER MYANMAR. Type. WITHOUT LOCALITY. Cult. RBG Kew s.n. ( K) . Reported from Kachin State, Sagaing Region and Chin State by Kress et al. (2003: 90; as V. moorei ), but we have not seen material from these areas.

Distribution:— Endemic.

Notes:— A natural hybrid between V. coerulea and Holcoglossum kimballianum . Vanda sp. in Nyan Tun (2014: 459) appears to represent this hybrid.
