Basionym: Eria dasyphylla C.S.P.Parish & Rchb. f., Trans. Linn. Soc. London 30: 147, 1874. Types :— MYANMAR. Tanintharyi Region: Dawei District , 1860, Parish 79 (lectotype K, designated by Seidenfaden 1982: 12). Syntypes: MYANMAR. Mon State: Mawlamyine District ,?Parish s.n. (not located, possibly K) ; MYANMAR. Tanintharyi Region: Myeik District , Helfer 3817 ( K) ; same loc., 18 Jul 1818, without collector s.n. (? Wallich) (not located, possibly K-W) ; INDIA. Sikkim: above Punkabaree, Hooker 55 ( K; isosyntype: W-R 31028 ); ORIGIN UNKNOWN. Kurz s.n. ( K) .
