Specimen examined:— MON. Mawlamyine District: 1827, Wallich, Numer. List: no. 7386B (K-W). Distribution:— India, Bangladesh, southern Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia and southwestern China. Note:— Wallich was the first to collect it in 1827 from Burma, and only Hooker realised it was a new species
(Hooker 1890b: 93; under T. curculigoides ).
