Distribution:— Eastern Myanmar and northern Thailand.

Homotypic synonyms: Platantheroides lucida (Wall. ex Lindl.) Szlach., Richardiana 4: 107, 2004. Habenella lucida (Wall. ex Lindl.) Szlach. & Kras-Lap., Richardiana 6: 37, 2006.

Heterotypic synonym: Habenaria recurva Rolfe ex Downie, Bull. Misc. Inform. Kew 1925: 420, 1925 .

Unspecified : type; same loc., 27 Sep 1972, Thein Pe s.n. ( K) ; central part: 30 m, 18 Aug 1948, Po Khant 661 ( RAF) ; same loc., 30 m, 15 Sep 1948, Po Khant 835 ( K, RAF) . MON. Mawlamyine District: Parish 118 (or?110) ( K, W) . Also reported from Bago and Tanintharyi regions by Kress et al. (2003: 80), but we have not seen material from these areas.

Distribution:— Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina, southwestern and southern China and Taiwan.
