Specimens examined:— CHIN. Falam District: 1980 m, 23 Jul 1910, Venning 15 & 16 ( AMES, K); same loc., 1980 m, 30 Sep 1910, Venning 35 ( AMES, K); Mindat District : fide Kingdon-Ward (1959: 62). Also reported from Mandalay Region by Kress et al. (2003: 81), but we have not seen material from this area.
Distribution:— Northern India, the Himalayas, Myanmar and southwestern China.
