Basionym: Orchis viridiflora Rottler ex Sw., Kongl. Vetensk. Acad. Nya Handl. 21: 206, 1800.

Specimen examined:— MANDALAY. Myingyan District: fide Tanaka et al. (2011: 164), photo.

Distribution:— Sri Lanka, India, central Myanmar (?), Thailand, Indochina and southern China.

Note:— This taxon is expected to occur in Myanmar, but specimens are needed to confirm the record, since identifying taxa from photos in this genus is difficult.
