World Orchid Conf. 14: 214, 1993 (publ. 1994). Type:—ORIGIN UNKNOWN (? Myanmar). Without collector s.n. (not located).

MANDALAY. Myingyan District: Khin Myo Htwe 76 ( MBK [s], TNS), fide Tanaka et al. (2015: 82). SHAN. Kyaukme District: 1120 m, 27 Jan 1996, Meyer s.n., photo, fide SOF (2019); Taunggyi District: 1370 m, 26 Feb 2014, Saw Lwin SL 1 ( RAF); same loc., 890 m, O’Byrne s.n., photo, fide SOF (2019). WITHOUT LOCALITY. Type; imp. Low s.n. ( W-R 37165 & 37197); Candler s.n. ( K); 1924, imp. Sander 10482 ( K). Also reported from Kachin State by Kress et al. (2003: 81), but we have not seen material from this area.

Distribution:— India, Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina and southwestern China.
