? Nervilia juliana (Roxb.) Schltr., Bot. Jahrb. Syst. View in CoL 45: 402, 1911
Basionym: Epipactis juliana Roxb., Fl. Ind. View in CoL ed. 1832, 3: 453, 1832.
Homotypic synonym: Pogonia juliana (Roxb.) Wall. ex Trimen, Handb. Fl. View in CoL Ceylon 4: 225, 1898.
Heterotypic synonym:? Pogonia cuprea C.S.P.Parish mss. in J.D.Hooker, Fl. Brit. India 6: 119, 1890.
Specimens examined:— KACHIN. Myitkyina District: without collector s.n. (not located, possibly CAL), fide Pottinger & Prain (1898: 272; as Pogonia juliana ). MON. Mawlamyine District: Parish 166 (icon. K; as P. cuprea ), ident. uncertain.
Distribution:—? Sri Lanka, India, eastern Himalayas and possibly Myanmar.
Note:— It is not certain if this poorly understood species occurs in Myanmar. Parish 166, identified as Pogonia cuprea , was doubtfully referred here by Hooker (1890b: 119). Seidenfaden (1978a: 154) thought this drawing represented a member of the N. infundibulifolia Blatt. & McCann complex.
