Nervilia maculata View in CoL (C.S.P.Parish & Rchb.f.) Schltr., Bot. Jahrb. Syst. 45: 403, 1911

Basionym : Pogonia maculata C.S.P.Parish & Rchb. View in CoL f., Trans. Linn. Soc. London 30: 143, 1874. Type :— MYANMAR. Tenasserim: Parish 165 (holotype: K; isotype: W-R 48197 ; icon. K & W-R 48213 ) .

Specimens examined:— MANDALAY. Pyinoolwin District : fide Aung et al. (2020: 92). TENASSERIM. Type. Reported from Mon State and Tanintharyi Region by Kress et al. (2003: 83), but we have not seen material from these areas.

Distribution:— Southern Myanmar and Thailand.

Note:— Seidenfaden (1978a: 156) reduced N. parishiana to this, but it is likely distinct.
