Specimens examined:— KACHIN. Putao District: fide Aung et al. (2020: 92). Distribution:— Northeastern India, Bangladesh and northern Myanmar to southwestern and southern China.
Oberonia maxima C.S.P.Parish ex Hook. f., Fl. Brit. India 5: 677, 1888. Type:— MYANMAR. Mon State: Mawlamyine District , Parish 287 (holotype: K)
Homotypic synonym: Iridorkis maxima (C.S.P.Parish ex Hook.f.) Kuntze, Revis. Gen . Pl. 2: 669, 1891.
Specimen examined:— SAGAING. Kale District : fide Aung et al. (2020: 92) . MON. Mawlamyine District : type.Also reported from Tanintharyi Region by Kress et al. (2003: 84), but we have not seen material from this area.
Distribution:— Eastern Himalayas, northeastern India, southern Myanmar and Thailand.
