Specimen examined:— KACHIN. Putao District : fide Aung et al. (2020: 75) .
Distribution:—?Northern Myanmar and Ambon ( Moluccas, Indonesia).
Notes:— This species is a narrow Indonesian endemic ( Ambon) and not likely in Myanmar. We think the record may be a misidentification of the widespread D. spatella Rchb. f. (syn. D. acinaciforme Roxb. var. minus Tang & F.T.Wang ).
