Homotypic synonym: Callista adunca (Wall. ex Lindl.) Kuntze, Revis. Gen . Pl. 2: 654, 1891.

Specimens examined:— KACHIN. Putao District : 455 m, 5 Jul 1937, Kingdon-Ward 12790 ( BM) . SAGAING. Kale District : fide Aung et al. (2020: 75) . MANDALAY. Pyinoolwin District : Swinhoe 132 ( K) . TANINTHARYI. Dawei District : fide Aung et al. (2020: 75). Also reported from Chin State and Magway Region by Kress et al. (2003: 71), but we have not seen material from these areas.

Distribution:— The eastern Himalayas, northeastern India, Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina and southwestern and southern China.
