Homotypic synonym: Callista amoena (Wall. ex Lindl.) Kuntze, Revis. Gen . Pl. 2: 654, 1891.

Heterotypic synonyms: Dendrobium marmoratum Rchb. f., Gard. Chron., n.s., 3: 492, 1875. Callista marmorata (Rchb.f.) Kuntze, Revis. Gen . Pl. 2: 655, 1891. Type:— MYANMAR. Without locality: cult. Low ex Boxall s.n. (holotype: W-R 20939).

Specimens examined:— SAGAING. Kale District : fide Aung et al. (2020: 76). WITHOUT LOCALITY. Type; fide Hooker (1890a: 738) .

Distribution:— India, the Himalayas and Myanmar.

Note:— Dendrobium marmoratum has long been considered a synonym of this species (Hort. 1919), a view with which we agree.
