Distribution:— The Himalayas, northeastern India, Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina and southwestern China.

Distribution:— Myanmar and southwestern China.

Notes:— There are also drawings and cultivated specimens preserved at Kew. In Myanmar the plants of this species are sometimes misidentified as C. prolifera , presumably following misidentification by Vaddhanaphuti (2001: 77).
