Basionym: Cirrhopetalum andersonii Hook. f., Fl. Brit. India 5: 777, 1890.

Specimens examined:— UPPER MYANMAR. Fide Seidenfaden (1992: 284). KACHIN. Putao District: 1220 m, 7 Aug 1953, Kingdon-Ward 21237 (BM), det. G. Seidenfaden. SHAN. Taunggyi District: fide Nyan Tun (2014: 41); same loc., fide Nyan Tun (2014: 99) [as Cirrhopetalum auratum Lindl. ].

Distribution:— Eastern Himalayas, northeastern India, Myanmar, Indochina and southwestern and southern China.
