Specimens examined:— KACHIN. Putao District : fide Aung et al. (2020: 63) .
Distribution:—?Northern Myanmar and the Philippines.
Note:— An otherwise Philippine endemic, not likely to occur in northern Myanmar.
Bulbophyllum capillipes C.S.P.Parish & Rchb. f., Trans. Linn. Soc. London 30: 150, t. 32A, 1874. Type :— MYANMAR. Mon State : Mawlamyine District, 1870, Parish 301 (holotype: K; isotype: W-R 2296 )
Homotypic synonyms: Phyllorkis capillipes (C.S.P.Parish & Rchb.f.) Kuntze, Revis. Gen . Pl. 2: 677, 1891.
Heterotypic synonym: Drymoda latisepala Seidenf., Nordic J. Bot. 1: 212, 1981. Type :— MYANMAR. Mon State : Mawlamyine District, Parish s.n. (holotype: W-R 26103 ) .
Specimens examined:— MON. Mawlamyine District : types cited. WITHOUT LOCALITY. Cult. Williams, Day s.n. (icon. W-R 2296 ). Reported from Chin State and Tanintharyi Region by Kress et al. (2003: 65), but we have not seen any material from these areas.
Distribution:— Myanmar, Thailand and Indochina.
Note:— The type of Drymoda latisepala is probably an unnumbered isotype of Bulbophyllum capillipes .
