Distribution:— Myanmar and Thailand.
Note:— Seidenfaden (1988: 96) speculated that the origin of this plant was Myanmar (as Staurochilus joiceyanus ). He later described it as Acampe thailandica ( Seidenfaden 1997: 49) , which is now considered conspecific with A. joiceyana .
