Distribution:— The eastern Himalayas, northeastern India throughout Southeast Asia to the islands of the western Pacific.
Notes:— Considered in the broad sense ( var. auriculata is not recognised). In addition to the specimens listed above, there are also drawings of specimens from Mawlamyine and Dawei districts in K-LINDL.
