Acriopsis indica Wight, Icon. Pl. Ind. Orient. 5 (1): 20, t. 1748-1, 1851. Type :— MYANMAR. Mon State : Mawlamyine District, Parish 76 (neotype: K)

Specimens examined:— SAGAING. Hkampti District: 27 Mar 2018, Armstrong et al. 3607 ( NY, photos seen) . CHIN. Mindat District : fide Aung et al. (2020: 61) . MON. Mawlamyine District : type . TANINTHARYI. Dawei District : fide Aung et al. (2020: 61). WITHOUT LOCALITY. Griffith 1036 ( K-LINDL). Also reported from Kachin State by Saw Lwin (2007: 250).

Distribution:— Northeastern India, Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina, southwestern China and Malesia as far east as Timor.

Note:— Typification of this species should be reinvestigated.
