Specimens examined:— UPPER MYANMAR. Toppin 4302 ( CAL). KACHIN. Unspecified: 8 Apr 1897, Pottinger s.n. ( CAL); Putao District : 1065 m, 21 Sep 1953, Kingdon-Ward 21351 ( BM). SHAN. Taunggyi District : see note below .

Distribution:— The eastern Himalayas, northeastern India, Upper Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina, southwestern and southern China and Taiwan.

Note:— A photo labelled as C. lyroglossa Rchb. f. ( Nyan Tun 2014: 85) is probably C. densiflora .
