Specimens examined:— CHIN. District not traced: 1645 m, comm. 9 Oct 1923, Daun 101 ( K) ; Falam District : 2135 m, 13 Dec 1909, Venning 1 ( K) ; Mindat District : 2135 m, 18 Nov 1956, Kingdon-Ward 22873 ( BM) .
Distribution:— Northeastern India, western Myanmar, northern Thailand and southwestern China.
Note:— Seidenfaden (1975a: 42−45) pointed out similarities between this species and C. wardii W.W.Sm. (currently accepted name, C. whiteana King & Pantl. ) but decided to keep the two separate. See also Kurzweil & Ormerod (2018: 5).
