Cheirostylis malleifera C.S.P.Parish & Rchb. f., Trans. Linn. Soc. London 30: 141, 1874. Type:— MYANMAR. Tenasserim:? Kayin State:?Hpa-An District , Parish 248 (holotype: K; isotype: W-R 26215 ).
Specimens examined:—? KAYIN.?Hpa-An District : type. Also reported from Tanintharyi Region by Kress et al. (2003: 69; as C. malleifera ), but we have not seen material from this area.
Distribution:— The eastern Himalayas, northeastern India, southern Myanmar, Thailand, southwestern and southern China and Peninsular Malaysia.
