Basionym: Cirrhopetalum elatum Hook. View in CoL f., Fl. Brit. India 5: 775, 1890.

Homotypic synonym: Phyllorkis elata View in CoL (Hook.f.) Kuntze, Revis. Gen . Pl. 2: 677, 1891.

Specimen examined:— KACHIN. Putao District : 915−1220 m, 14 Sep 1926, Kingdon-Ward 7408 ( K). Distribution :— Central Himalayas , northeastern India, northern Myanmar, Indochina and southwestern China. Note:— Kingdon-Ward 7408 lost its lip, but the specimen is identical to this species in all other floral as well as vegetative characters ( Kurzweil & Ormerod 2018: 3) .
