Specimens examined:— KACHIN. Putao District: fide Aung et al. (2020: 64); Myitkyina District: type. Distribution:— Northern Myanmar, Thailand and southwestern China. Note:— Pearce & Cribb (2002: 468−469) suggested that further studies may show this species to belong within the range of variability in B. helenae (Kuntze) J.J.Sm.
